Meet Our Chapter
The Greater Rockford chapter began in 2009. Since then we have placed over 700 children in more than 150 host families. We currently host about 130 children per year. We are passionate about engaging the local church to build a support network around vulnerable children and families in need. While hosting arrangements are an integral part of our movement, we also seek to build extended family-like supports around the families in need that will last well into the future. We aim to empower volunteers in their efforts to create strong and stable communities for generations to come!
The Rockford-based staff serves Winnebago, Boone, Dekalb, Stephenson, and Jo Daviess counties.
